The mission of Jazz at Lincoln Center is to entertain, enrich and expand a global community for jazz through performance, education, and advocacy. We believe jazz is a metaphor for Democracy. Because jazz is improvisational, it celebrates personal freedom and encourages individual expression. Because jazz is swinging, it dedicates that freedom to finding and maintaining common ground with others. Because jazz is rooted in the blues, it inspires us to face adversity with persistent optimism.
Jazz at Lincoln Center (JALC) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. It produces an annual concert season in Rose Theater and the Appel Room and nightly concerts at Dizzy’s, on the 5th floor of the Time Warner Center in Columbus Circle, NYC.

Women In Jazz Organization intends to help level the playing field in jazz, so that women and non-binary people have equal opportunity to participate in and contribute to Jazz, leading to an improved and more rich, diverse, and successful art form. WIJO is also committed to honoring Black Americans as the creators of jazz.
Women In Jazz Organization is a collective of over 400 professional performing jazz musicians who identify as women or gender non-binary. Though largely a New York City-based organization, WIJO has carefully built connections to other individuals and groups nationally and internationally.
Outside in Music is a record label and media company that exists to serve musicians. OiM facilitates artists’ projects in order to help them realize their work in front of the world. We are a community that strives to lift its artists above the noise of the 21st-century music industry and make music that expresses the sounds of today’s wide-ranging jazz and creative music scene.
We are focused on the development of a 360 approach to the artist’s career. It isn’t about the release of only the current album. It’s aiding in tour planning, promotional campaigns, ongoing buzz, and growing beyond the initial release. We’re a community of career builders. We focus on creating interesting work, often.
