Summer Jazz Improv and Composers Workshop2022 summer programs application is open

The NYU Steinhardt Summer Jazz Improvisation and Composers Workshop offers daily cutting-edge masterclasses, ensembles and seminars that provide a wide range of opportunities tailored to the needs of intermediate and advanced students. Along with a world-renowned jazz studies faculty, the workshop will include daily interaction with many of the top jazz musicians on the music scene today. Students will also have the opportunity to give public performances at the Provincetown Playhouse in Greenwich Village, the heart of the New York City jazz scene.

The faculty will include Dr. David Schroeder (NYU MPAP department chair, Professor of Jazz Studies) and Professor David Pietro (Director of NYU Jazz Studies program) along with other distinguished jazz studies performers and educators.
